WLNH Children's Auction.....the true giving spirit

Another WLNH Children's Auction has come to a close - it's 29th year!

The wonderful folks involved in this annual event -in front of and behind - the scenes bring out the true giving spirit of our community and it is a privilege and joy for me to capture that spirit through the lens of my camera.

The 2nd annual Pub Mania event once again brought forth that giving spirit and through that event I came upon Rick Page's song written for the auction titled "Santa Can You Hear Me". When Allan Beetle played Rick's song at the start of Pub Mania the room went silent and everyone in Patrick's Pub knew why they were there.

To share that feeling I put Rick's song to images taken throughout the auction to look back and remind ourselves of this special community that we all call home.

This link will take you to the slideshow http://vimeo.com/17713317

enjoy and god bless,

Where are you Christmas....

...take a look around the Lakes Region it's everywhere!

Maybe Christmas... perhaps... means a little bit more!

And what happened then? Well, in Whoville they say that the Grinch's small heart grew three sizes that day. And then - the true meaning of Christmas came through, and the Grinch found the strength of *ten* Grinches, plus two!

Welcome, Christmas, bring your cheer.

Welcome Christmas while we stand, heart to heart and hand in hand.

enjoy,
