FINDING MEANING

When I received this project I will admit I was actually slightly giddy.  To be able to spend two days photographing all the intricate details of the Chapel of St Peter and St Paul at St Paul's School was, to me, a photographer's dream.

Over two days I explored all the nooks and crannies within those walls and felt humbled by the beauty in each detail.

Seeing the final project in print form brought on a sense of pride in my work.  This became an extremely personal project for me in its timing and one that will stay will me forever.

RAINY DAYS don't have to be "Rainy Days"

Play a game of     ~ Rock - Paper - Scissors ~    with your cousins

or go for a leisurely paddle along the lake's shore
If those ideas aren't to your liking.....
... go jump in the lake

Don't get caught up in a "rainy day" -  just go play!

Sand Comes to Life

As summer heat picks up folks flock to the beaches and the sand comes to life.

The annual Sand Sculpture competition at Hampton Beach

brings "life to the sand" in a different way....   amazing what they create together.

Work Out & Work Up

When I'm on assignment I am always looking for something to capture the feeling of the event whether it is expression or a sense of place.  Nine times out of ten I will go for expression - that's just who I am. I hopefully pass that feeling onto the viewers as they see the story in print.

Getting yourself into a different place will offer a point of view that others could not have seen.
Seeing the opportunity is one thing... but you must be willing to act on the opportunity.  A friend reached out and shared a story about "Soc" Bobotas with me this week.  And he said something that truly hits home.

"If you did not try it how would you ever know if you could do it!"

Obviously, I reached out  ...

In the future I hope to keep close those wise words and continue with that philosophy as the rewards are well worth it.

A "Toes in the Water" kind of day

In Wolfeboro Bay for a stand up paddleboard lesson with Christopher Shields of SUPNH
It takes a few minutes to get your feet under you
but then you're up and paddling along
and having a "toes in the water" kind of day!

For the Love of Horses

I have always loved horses since I was a young girl.  Beautiful animals that connect with us in such a tender way.

A checkin this morning for a shoot with Sarah on Sunday gave me the opportunity to photograph "Eleanor" and Whiskey"

Excitement as we headed out for a trail ride and a swim today.  I'd say "Whiskey" was enjoying being in front of the camera as much as I enjoyed being behind it.

Thank you ladies....for a lovely morning!
