Getting Comfortable in Portraiture

I'm realizing more and more the importance of making someone "comfortable" in front of my lens.  For some this comes naturally and other times I'm the one that needs to coax it out of my client.
I'm realizing that as I become more "comfortable" as a photographer I'm able to mirror that feeling to my client and guide them into a pose that is comfortable for both of us.  Feeling natural and relaxed comes with a trust that you build in a very short period of time.
I love all aspects of photography but lately am finding this type of work rewarding and eye opening ~ tapping into a creativity that changes each and every time out.

enjoy,

k
