Them's the Berries!

There is still great blueberry picking around the Lakes Region if you're up for a little hike.

Head up Piper Mountain in Gilford which is a fairly easy hike up from either Carriage Road or Gilford Glen Road. We chose Gilford Glen Road and the blueberries were plentiful and the view gorgeous.

You can't lose...

What's Happenin'...

....this weekend

Locally, it's the Belknap County 4-H Fair in Belmont for some old traditions ~ great people ~ animals ~ exhibits and fun!

"Gracie" and Nate showin' a little love Friday evening as preparations take place for the weekend festivities.

I took a chance yesterday that the Thunderbirds would be doing a practice "pre" show before the upcoming Boston/Portsmouth Air Show on Saturday and Sunday. If you get the chance take the drive to Portsmouth and see these fabulous United States Air Force pilots and planes in action.

OPPORTUNITY ~

What started as a typical scene at the end of an August day spent on the coast of Maine turned into a very unique and amazing photo opportunity.

While the sunbeams filtered through the onshore clouds ...the effect was amazing.

The more I observe sunsets with my camera the more patience I realize I need to possess
