A weekend jaunt to the Big Apple was an experience to explore the sights and sounds that this fabulous city has to offer.I will be the first to admit, for me, the subway seemed daunting. But when you're awaiting your train at Penn Station and are greeted with a cellist... what can I say... subway angst goes away.
Coming from New Hampshire green space is certainly not an issue. Strolling through Central Park we were greeted with NY er's enjoying their green space with gusto.... and passion.
After telling a story about the "Naked Cowboy" to friends I was traveling with who do we come upon but the "Naked Cowgirl". Needless to say she was turning some heads.
...embarked on the ferry ride to greet the grand lady. I realize the Statue of Liberty has been photographed by so many others. But this is the very first time for "me" and it was an honor and a pleasure.
