Tap, Tap, Tap

When I got a call from Demi to do a photo shoot I knew I'd be gearing up for a fun day!  Demi is an aspiring dancer / choreographer as well as a vibrant, spunky young lady.  She will be embarking on a month long adventure across the US "tap, tap tapping...."

She arrives at the shoot with a suitcase full of clothes and sass ....my kind of gal!

 We worked through her outfits with some tap and improv moves.  I see this young woman doing great things ahead.

Those boots aren't made for just "walkin'....."
Dance to your heart's content.

Seeing Beauty in the Under Belly

When I came upon "Susannah"  I had the feeling she was out of place.  There was more to her story than sitting there alone.

As I looked closer she began to share a story....

 Everglade

 Along the Reef

Turned Upside Down by the Wave

Imagination is a wonderful thing.
Allow it to take you where it will.
Don't sit back and enjoy the ride....

Front Lawn Aglow

Looking out onto the front lawn it looked aglow ~ like someone had turned on a large warm spotlight.  Enough so to make me take a walk outside to see what the sky was doing.

Checking In on Our Birds

Nest Cleaning...

 Followed by lunch!

Fun to watch our birds grow.  Mamma and Papa bird are busy all day long digging worms.  They take turns feeding them one after another.  With a bit of "nest cleaning" in between.  They've grown quite a bit in a weeks time.

Taking In the Sights of the Harbor

 Sailing along through Boston Harbor soaking up the sunshine with a strong breeze and sea spray hitting our faces.  I enjoyed an easy chat with Sue.  Ends up she knows dear friends of mine through their quilting business in NH.  I do love our "small world".  Friends are all around us and offer surprises that I find delightful and refreshing.  New conversations stitching dear friends and new acquaintances together just as that of a quilt.  

Sue's ease of being on the water was evident and her enjoyment of this day quite visible.  I truly enjoyed photographing her and sincerely hope that our paths cross again down the road.

PEAK BOOM

You've got to love pop up thunderstorms.  Was half way into a walk when the skies opened up and the thunder rolled.  Got drenched in about 2 minutes so decided why not quicken the pace into a run.  I haven't felt like a could run for years!  Nothing like the boom of thunder to put a spark in your steps.  Got me right out of that cardio mode into "peak".

Feeling good...... for the love of running.
